Christine Pappas-Tharp has been a registered nurse since 1997 and received her BSN and MSN from College of Notre Dame of Maryland, with a focus in nursing education.

Christine has substantial experience in numerous areas including critical care, emergency dept, critical care transport, cath lab, hospital education, assisting students with test anxiety, and diabetes consulting.

CLASSES

  • The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

  • The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

  • ACLS Initial $180

    ACLS Renewal $150

  • The PALS Provider course aims to improve outcomes for pediatric patients by preparing healthcare providers to effectively recognize and intervene in patients with respiratory emergencies, shock, and cardiopulmonary arrest by using high‐performance team dynamics and high‐quality individual skills. The course includes a series of case scenario practices with simulations that reinforce important concepts.

  • PALS Initial $180

    PALS Renewal $150

  • The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This training covers adult, child, and or pediatric recipients. This reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).

  • Heartsaver Initial $120

    Heartsaver Renewal $100.

    Price includes the book ($3) and HeartSaver card ($17).

  • This one time session includes training for 3 types of certifications. You may choose (BLS/AED with ACLS) or (BLS/AED with PALS).
